Pretty in White

My cupboards are mostly installed and the appliances are in the house... only the fridge is set up though- it didn't come in a box. So here are some pictures of the kitchen, try to ignore the huge box that is an oven in the middle of it. And imagine pretty hardware on the doors, and a pretty back splash over the counter top, which you also have to imagine. If you're up for it, you can also try to picture a door on the pantry... or paint in there... and a nice light fixture, and crown molding... and less mess... ok, so there's a lot left to do. :)

There is my oven, and my island.... still in boxes. :) The fridge is out though! Pretty side by side, with an ice maker. You can't even see there are dents in it. In the picture anyway.

This is my favorite part about my kitchen. It's a broom closet (slash a place for keys and wallets etc. that is not on the counter). You can sort of see the edge of it beside the fridge in the first picture. And it's a little dark, but on the left side of the picture you can see the stairwell to the side door.

Cupboards

As of last night we got three cupboards up. Six to go!

 No peaking.

Paint

The kitchen is painted... next step- cupboards.

Cliffside is my kitchen. I think it will look nice with my white cupboards and back splash.

 What my cupboards look like...

What my backslash will hopefully look like.

I'm choosing between global waters and black sable for my bathroom. White wainscoting on the bottom. I'm leaning towards black sable... thoughts?

While we're into colors here is our room (blue) and Caed's room (green) colors.

It looks like something

Drywall makes a huge difference! It looks like a real room.

A PANTRY!!!!!!!!!! I'm so excited. I've never had one... in my apartments and rentals... go figure. I really am spoiled. I think it will be the best.

Kitchen

Our cupboards came three weeks early. (Yay). Which will seriously speed up our moving in process. Because we can get them in and then order counter tops now instead of in three weeks. So this is lovely. It also means that the bathroom has momentarily been forgotten about.

Kitchen kitchen kitchen. Here are pictures of what our kitchen, piled with cupboards in boxes, and without drywall looks like. I'll post pictures that show off our new drywall and the pretty pantry Josh built me tomorrow.

Demo.

Old insulation gone. The worst job. So much dust. And windows framed in.

Getting the electrical in.

Sneak peak at the cupboards. Pre-assembled and with that soft closing hardware. Spoiled anyone?

The wall I insulated in Caed's bedroom.
